Cancellation and refund policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to educational services paid for on iterrakidsacademy.eu, by bank transfer or at a branch. The trial lesson is free, is not paid for and is not subject to refund.

Prizes in iTerra Shop are awarded for iTerra Coins, are not bought for money and have no cash equivalent, so they are not refunded.

2. Right of withdrawal within 14 days

As a consumer, the Client may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days of concluding it, without giving a reason.

After the 14 days, the Client may stop attending at any time, paying for the services actually provided.

3. Cancelling or rescheduling a lesson

• A lesson notified at least 24 hours in advance is rescheduled or made up within the current module.
• A lesson missed without timely notice counts as delivered and is not refunded.
• A lesson cancelled by the academy is rescheduled or refunded, at the Client's choice.

4. Cancellation by the academy

If a group does not fill up, is merged or is closed, the academy offers a transfer to another group or refunds in full the amounts paid for lessons not delivered.

If the academy stops providing the services for its own reasons, amounts for lessons not delivered are refunded in full, with no deductions.

5. How the refund is calculated

The value of services not delivered as at the date of the request is refunded. The following is withheld:

• the cost of lessons already delivered;
• the cost of lessons missed without timely notice;
• costs actually incurred by the academy for the Client, if these were communicated in advance.

The price of one lesson is the amount paid divided by the number of lessons in the package or module paid for.

6. Refund period and method

Refunds are made within 14 calendar days of receiving the request, using the same method as the original payment unless the parties agree otherwise. The Client pays no fee for the refund.

Payments made online by card are refunded to the same card through BT iPay. A refund may be full or partial. When the funds reach the account depends on the card issuer.

7. The Certiport exam

The official Certiport exam fee is paid separately from the preparation course. Once the student is registered in the testing centre's system, the exam fee is no longer refundable, as it is passed on to the third party running the exam.

The preparation course is refunded under the general rules of this policy.

8. How to submit a request

Send the request to iterraacademy@gmail.com, stating the Client's name, the student's name, the programme, the payment date and the reason, if the Client wishes to give one. We confirm receipt and tell you the calculated amount.

If you disagree with the calculated amount, the complaints procedure in the Service agreement applies.

As a consumer, the Client may contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) and use the alternative dispute resolution platform (SAL). anpc.ro

The European online dispute resolution platform (ODR) is no longer available: the European Commission closed it on 20 July 2025.

The applicable law is Romanian law.
